Question:
----------------------
Hi There Larry and Co!

I've noticed that when making PHP changes it takes a while for the changes to "take affect"... I'm assuming that this is due to some form caching? Is there a way to force a refresh to get PHP changes to take affect right away!

Take Care... Mike.

Answer:

Hi Mike,

I haven't experienced this problem, and I'm writing new php code for these servers just about every day.

Your question piqued my curiosity, though, so did some research and found the following post on the cpanel forum from a sys admin I know and trust:

"This has nothing to do with cPanel servers as they don't use any mechanism to cache pages, unless you've manually messed around with Apache or installed squid on the server. The problem is either with the ISP\'s proxy cache (usually transparent) or elsewhere. You can confirm this easily enough by using lynx from the shell prompt on the server."

Hope this helps,

Larry
